League Rules

  • One team is in charge of setting up the nets every week - captains should be looking at the schedule so they know which week their team will be setting up (I will be taking down the nets at the end of the night).
    • The team setting up should be at the gym prior to 6:30pm
  • Games are self-refereed (teams can only call fouls on their own teammates) - if there is push back then just do a re-serve
  • Coed 6's (4 guys, 2 girls)
  • No penalty for teams playing with less than 6 people
  • Subs need to be CHILL. Good vibes only
  • No liberos
  • The team that scores is responsible for flipping the scoreboard
  • Captains (of the winning team each match) are in charge of recording their score after every game
  • If the ball hits the ceiling on your team's side, it's still in play

Playoffs

The playoff format is 6 team seeded single elimination (bo3). Playoffs will begin during the second game of the second to last day of the season. So, after you finish the first game, please record your score immediately and we will calculate the final standings. The top two teams will get an automatic pass to the semi-finals, so they will be scrimmaging for their second game of that day. The remaining teams will face off in the quarter finals, seed 3 vs. seed 6 and seed 4 vs. seed 5. The winners will move onto the semi-finals and the losing teams will scrimmage on day 2. The winners of the semi-finals will play each other in the finals for a prize! The losing teams will scrimmage against others in the losing pool.

Prize: T-Shirts!

Highlights

We are planning on showcasing highlights on our Instagram page. Anyone who records their games is welcome to send their recordings or clips over to me so I can compile them into highlights for each session. These can be receives, attacks, funny moments, etc. Highlights will be posted every week. Please let me know if you do not want to be featured in the highlights.
